It’s about that time again…
The time of year where kids count down the days in anticipation of freedom from homework, time with friends and lots of swimming and sunshine. It’s also the time of year that begins to make us groan a little as parents. What are we going to do with them this summer? How will we keep them busy? Out of trouble? And not playing video games all summer or spending too much time on social media instead of doing something more productive for their brains and bodies.
If you are like me, sometimes just finding a summer camp your child won’t find “boring” is harder than it seems.
Below is an article I wrote for the March issue of Catholic Family magazine, published in St. Louis. My article focuses on apps and websites that provide summer camp information for parents. This magazine is a resource for all families, so take a few minutes to peruse it below- and check out the summer camp websites and apps that can help find the right activity to keep your kids occupied (and you sane:) this summer!
